The nature of governance is changing before our eyes. As we enter an era defined by accelerating complexity — shaped by digital disruption, geopolitical fragmentation and societal transformation — the very idea of what it means to govern a corporation is being rewritten.
Questions emerge, such as: How can we balance corporate control with the increasing need for organizational agility and adaptive leadership, especially when it comes to ecosystem engagement? What is the impact of massive digitalization – particularly AI – on the role and the practices of boards? Do we need to fundamentally reinvent the current model of corporate governance – and if yes, how?
Hosted by CFFO Chairman Roland Deiser, an outstanding panel of international thought and practice leaders explore this questions in an unstructured conversation. They are:
- Jonathan Day | CEO, Tapestry Networks; Chair of Board, Newman University
- Robert C. Wolcott | Chairman TWIN Global; Author of Proximity
- Monica de Virgiliis | Chair of the Board, Chapter Zero France; non-executive Director, Air Liquide
This event is connected to the issue #47 of Developing Leaders Quarterly (DLQ) : Enabling Governance. Two participants of this Round Table have contributed as authors to this issue. Read their contributions here:
